Using JAT Ride
on the App
Ensure you have the latest version of the ride service app installed on your smartphone or device. Tap on the app icon to launch it.
If you're a new user, create an account by providing your email, phone number, and password. Existing users can sign in directly.
Allow the app to access your location or manually enter the pickup address. You can also set a pin on the map to specify your exact location.
Enter your desired destination address in the app. You can either type it in or select from recent locations.
The app will display available ride options (e.g., standard car, luxury car, shared ride). Select the one that suits your needs and budget.
Before confirming, review the estimated fare for your trip. This will give you an idea of how much the ride will cost.
Once you're satisfied, tap the "Request Ride" or "Book" button to send your ride request to nearby drivers.
The app will match you with a nearby driver, and you'll be able to see their name, profile picture, and vehicle details. You can also track their real-time location as they approach.
Once the driver arrives, ensure that the vehicle details (e.g., license plate number) match the information on the app for your safety. Then, hop in and begin your journey.
Most ride service apps support cashless transactions. Your linked payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the ride. Some apps also allow you to add a tip for the driver.
After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback. This helps maintain the quality of the service and assists future passengers in choosing reliable drivers.
The app will send you a receipt via email or in-app notification, detailing the fare and other trip information. You can also access your ride history within the app.
Remember to ensure your safety by verifying the driver's details, sharing your trip status with a friend or family member, and using well-lit and public areas for pickups, especially during nighttime. Happy riding!
